The Harold H. Helm Award, recognizing “exemplary and sustained service to Annual Giving,” was presented to Frederick G. Strobel ’74 of Nashville, TN.
The Class of 1926 Trophy, awarded to the class that raises the largest amount in each year's campaign, went to the Class of 1986. For their 25th Reunion, class members raised $9,001,986. This is an all-time record for any Princeton class. They were led by Class Agents Anthony V. Manory and Bruce C. Willsie; by Special Gifts Chairs Harold A. Dawson, Jr., Mary Tabor Engel, Robert A. Engel, Robert G. Hedlund, III, Christian L. Pompa, Kevin J. Rehnberg, and Karen Horwitz Sabath; by Participation Chair Karen B. Konigsberg; and by Class President Patrick J. Blake.
The Annual Giving Section of the South, chaired by Barbara A. McElroy ’81 of Birmingham, AL, received the Jerry Horton Award, which honors a regional AG committee each year for its successful efforts to expand dollar and participation results.
