IRA Law Permits Tax-Free Distributions to Princeton
WWS FountainOn October 3, 2008, President Bush signed a law which renews the opportunity for making tax-wise gifts to Princeton and other charities. Passage of this law, the Tax Extenders and Alternative Minimum Tax Relief Act of 2008 approved by a bipartisan majority in both houses of Congress, is good news for many donors who can afford to make charitable gifts using their IRA accounts.  more...

Reunions Seminar 2009: Family Wealth, Values, and Legacies

Princetonians attended an inspiring and informative session on how families with significant means can ensure that personal wealth is transferred where and how they choose. The session, held on the Saturday of Reunions, was presented by Thomas C. Rogerson, Managing Director, Family Wealth, BNY Wealth Management.

Annual Luncheon 2009
Gift Planning Annual Luncheon 2009Wednesday, May 6, 2009, Prospect House

Princetonians who had made gifts through charitable trusts, annuities, and pooled income funds gathered at this year's luncheon and to hear the Treasurer's annual report on the program. Our guest speaker at lunch was H. Vincent Poor *77, Dean of the School of Engineering and Applied Science. The event was held at Prospect House and provided opportunities to meet with other alumni and current students.
