Currently in its inaugural year, Princeton's innovative Bridge Year Program offers a select group of newly admitted undergraduates the opportunity to defer enrollment and spend a year abroad. Participants spend nine months immersed in a foreign culture, living with local families, and working in volunteer assignments that support the specific needs of their host communities.
